ATCA / MicroTCA

GE Fanuc Embedded Systems is delighted to announce the first two MicroTCA™ products in our Modular Platform family of high-speed, scalable platforms. The MicroTCA MP-2000 platform and the MicroTCA MP-3000 platform are application-ready and have been tested for mechanical and thermal stability and pre-validated for interoperability, including field proven carrier and module management code.
The Micro Telecommunications Computing Architecture (MicroTCA or µTCA) is an open standard architectural specification for low cost, small form factor, COTS systems that allow hot-swappable AdvancedMCs to plug directly into their own backplane.


MTCA Chassis

Modular Platforms are application-ready MicroTCA™ systems that have been tested for mechanical and thermal stability and pre-validated for interoperability, including field proven carrier and module management code. Based on open architecture specifications, these flexible, high-speed chassis allow hot-swappable AdvancedMC™ modules to plug directly into their own backplane.

AMC Processor

Our Processor AdvancedMCs fully implement the AdvancedTCA® modular design concept. They bring feature-rich processor capabilities to a carrier board, and can be added to any host card or MicroTCA™ system with the appropriate mechanical and electrical connections.

AMC I/O Board

MTelum 1001-DE AdvancedMC is a high performance, single wide, full height, AMC.1 compliant ATM adapter featuring a front I/O full duplex DS3/E3 interface. The Telum 1001-DE is designed for high availability Telecom edge access applications. The Telum 1001-DE uses the PCI Express (PCIe)Bus to communicate with the host processor on an Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) system.

ATCA Blade

These unique carrier cards were developed in close cooperation with IBM® in order to give system designers access to the powerful technology of both the BlaceCenter® and the AdvancedMC™. GE Fanuc Embedded Systems offers IBM BladeCenter carriers which can accept up to four AdvancedMCs per carrier, two of which are hot swappable from the front panel. The modules are also capable of being monitored and managed by BladeCenter system management software.
